"Who are You?" Project Bust 3D

Who are You?

 The project!

A little unplanned,
It's a strange time for me, maybe because I'm getting older, or maybe I'm just tired and I'd like to do too many things but I can't... I sat down and wanted to do something a little further from my plans that could still have a little meaning, even the heat didn't allow me to do complicated things, the wait for the desired summer holidays, in short a lot of things... and so here I am, as always, starting from a digital block, like a sculptor starts from a block of marble and begins to pull, drill, extrude... and here it is born... it's not complete yet but it's at a good 85%, it doesn't have a name... but a title for the scene... "Another_form_of_life" now "Who are You?" ....and I really hope you like it.

I'm very happy with the result; in person, it has a strong impact, and although the robot is a cold, soulless object, in this case it seems to express tenderness and curiosity towards the little mouse. I believe that with the right coloring and effects, it could be a piece with a strong emotional impact. I think it's the one of the models I've made so far that embodies a little bit of my essence.

Let's move on to the technical part: the model received a significant amount of additional detailing, which in part made me fear the 3D printing would be successful, but the settings I entered and the positioning already proved successful. The supports are very small to leave as little mark as possible, and in any case in less visible areas. With 400-600-800 grit sandpaper, the surfaces are excellent. I noticed a few oversights in the photos, but I'll correct those before applying the primer. The model measures a generous 150mm in height and is made up of 16 pieces. This model will be presented at Alecomics next month, at the NKGC group stand. I might have some printed copies available for that occasion...
